Thought: So many people I know have either moved in with partners they barely know because lockdown or stayed with unsuitable partners they had planned to break up with. Relationships have their own momentum. Reckon we'll have a spate of very dysfunctional marriages in 5-10 years
On the other hand, I know couples who have found tremendous strength going through all this together - which is wonderful. But lockdown felt a bit like musical chairs: the music stops, and you're stuck with whoever you're with at that moment
At the start of Covid, @fakedansavage talked on the #SavageLovecast about pairing up ("Will you be my Quarantine"?). That's sweet, and a great story to tell the grandkids. Also paves the way for divorce when people madly unsuited ended up shoved together for years by chance
