Earlier today, I decided to "feed my eyes". All I saw was anger and hunger in the land.

Unless something is done quickly, we may be in for a long ride. It was a total shutdown in Lagos today. Applying force on the #EndSARS protesters may be irrelevant. Dialogue may be needless.
However, an action by the government to prosecute erring officers, sack the IGP, rejig the PSC, and even reshuffle cabinet weeding out underperforming ministers may send a message.

The people I conversed with today are tired of talks. They want action. They want justice.
If petrol prices and VAT increase can happen overnight, why does it take years for a minimum wage of 30,000 naira to be implemented?

Why do they claim the country is broke while the members of the National Assembly feed fat? They even earn Hardship Allowance. What an irony?
The sad thing is that if history were taught in school, this government wouldn't have been voted at all, talk less of twice.

Hopefully, Nigerians can rectify this in 2023. But I don't think the ravenous youths I saw today can wait that long.

Goodnight...
