These GRU officers were part of the 74455 unit previously known to Americans for connection to 2016 breach of the DNC. In that case, it was 74455 that was responsible for breaching DNC, while Unit 26165 used Wikileaks, Roger Stone and other idiots to disseminate stolen emails.
GRU suspects include: Yuriy Andrienko, Unit 74455 officer worked with Pavel Frolov, Sergey Detistov and Petr Pliskin to develop the #NotPetya malware variant aimed at Ukraine, France, US civilian targets, 2018 Olympic targets, OPCW and others.
GRU 74455 Unit intelligence officer Anatoliy Sergeyevich Kovalev has been previously charged in the US for his part in hacking the DNC. He is accused of leading spearphishing campaigns against the DNC, 2018 Winter Olympics, French officials, and Georgian media targets.
Kovalev is also accused of targeting for personal gain, Russian real estate companies, auto dealers, cryptocurrency miners inside and outside of Russia.
GRU intel officer for 74455 Artem Valeryevich Ochichenko worked on spearphish campaigns against 2018 Winter Olympic partners and Georgian govt and civilian targets in 2019.
GRU Intel officer for 74455 surpervised the Dev Team responsible for developing the NotPetya components. He was involved until at least June 2018.
