I guess what I'm trying to say here is that Jeffrey Toobin is a terrible, morally corrupted human being who is nevertheless allowed to preen & morally grandstand b/c his friends in high places pretend he isn't pure sleaze; after all, how can he be when he has the right opinions?

I need to reiterate: Jeffrey Toobin, a married man, impregnated his colleague's daughter, then tried to force her to abort it, then denied paternity of the child, then was a deadbeat on child support until ordered to pay up by the courts, and he still refused to pay. All excused!
