In traditional astrology, the 2nd, 6th, 8th, and 12th House do not aspect the 1st House. They're often seen as difficult houses due to lack of vision. I think fixing house issues in astrology can help a lot if we're aware of the houses that aren't aspected via derivative houses.
Derivative houses is an astrological technique you can use to see your chart in another perspective. For example, you can find your partner's siblings using derivative houses by putting the 7th house as your 1st house, and then going to find the 3rd house from there.
So in that example, your partner's siblings would be the 9th House, and you can do that for other various inquiries! So the inquiry with this thread is this: How can we mitigate hidden or unseen issues with various areas of our life through the houses?
1st House, the house of identity and appearance - no aspects to the 2nd, 6th, 8th, and 12th House

Our identity and appearance can be challenged and secretly affected by our finances, our self-esteem, routine, health, debt, power struggles, and the unknown parts of ourselves
2nd House, the house of finances and self-worth - no aspects to the 1st, 3rd, 7th, and 9th House

Our finances and self-esteem can be challenged and secretly affected by our identity, culture, locality, relationship dynamics, beliefs, worldview, and long-distance traveling
3rd House, the house of culture and locality - no aspects to the 2nd, 4th, 8th, and 10th House

Our culture and local perspective can be challenged and secretly affected by our finances, self-esteem, family, past, debts, power struggles, career, purpose, and reputation.
4th House, the house of family, past, and safe spaces - no aspects to the 3rd, 5th, 9th, and 11th House

Our past and safe space can be challenged and secretly affected by siblings, culture, children, hobbies, beliefs, religion, community, and sense of belonging.
5th House, the house of enjoying your existence - no aspects to the 4th, 6th, 10th, and 12th House

Our perspective on happiness can be challenged and secretly affected by your childhood, past, routine, work environment, career, reputation, and unknown parts of who you are
6th House, the house of daily schedules and health - no aspects to the 5th, 7th, 11th, and 1st House

Our approach to getting our life together can be challenged and secretly affected by our need for fun, hobbies, children, relationships, friendships, belonging, and our identity
7th House, the house of relationship dynamics - no aspects to the 6th, 8th, 12th, and 2nd House

Our relationship dynamics can be challenged and secretly affected by our daily routines, health, power struggles, debt, unknown parts of ourselves, finances, and self-esteem
8th House, the house of obligations and loss - no aspects to the 7th, 9th, 3rd, and 1st House

Our obligations and losses can be challenged and secretly affected by our relationship dynamics, beliefs, worldview, neighbors, culture, and how we identify ourselves
9th House, the house of worldviews and the foreign - no aspects to the 8th, 10th, 2nd, and 4th House

Our beliefs and foreign interactions can be challenged and secretly affected by our debt, obligations, career, reputation, finances, self-esteem, past, home life, and family.
10th House, the house of purpose and reputation - no aspects to the 9th, 11th, 3rd, and 5th House

Our career and reputation can be challenged and secretly affected by our beliefs, worldviews, friendships, community, culture, local environment, children, and our need for joy.
11th House, the house of group relationships and belonging - no aspects to the 10th, 12th, 4th, and 6th House

Our sense of belonging can be challenged and secretly affected by our career, reputation, the unknown parts of ourselves, family, home life, work, and health
12th House, the house of the unknown parts of ourselves - no aspects to the 1st, 11th, 7th, and 5th House

Our unknown and unprocessed selves can be challenged and secretly affected by our known identity, friends, communities, relationship dynamics, our need for joy, and children
So, I'm not sure if you can ~technically~ apply derivative houses in this way, but I feel that most people frame their issues based off of the houses. So if you ever feel like you're struggling in an area of life, you can use this method to further illuminate what you don't know!
