It has been a little over 2 months since I started flipping seriously.

Here are my stats;

- Total Sales - $27,828.37
- Profited - $10,044.47
- Sold 374 items

The Top 10 things I have learned in my 2 months;

// THREAD //
1. List EVERYTHING

When you source or purchase an item, make sure it is listed on every possible site. Some items sell better on certain sites so ensure you are maximizing your potential profit by checking sold items on every site.
2. Promote your listings

Every site these days has the ability to promote your listing. Factor this into your final sale price and promote your listing. You want to show up on the first page of a search.
3. Cash Flow

As the old saying says, cash flow is king. Ensure that you get your cash flow in check and understand what inventory you have. Paying off your card is ESSENTIAL.
4. Enforce your strategy

Certain items are buy and hold, others items are a quick flip. Deploy your strategy and stick to it. There is an opportunity to do both but make sure you know what you are getting into.
5. Utilize other peoples money

If you have credit cards, make sure you are utilizing them properly. So many opportunities to spend and many opportunities for rewards. A great example of this is a cash back card.
6. Ship FAST

Your orders should go out the next day, if not same day (if you can). Show your customers your commitment to them and make sure they get their package safe and sound. You could get return customers.
7. Treat your accounts like your business

For instance, your eBay account is your business. Make it look professional, build up your feedback, and adjust your prices accordingly. This is your image and business; treat it as such.
8. Be ACTIVE

The algorithms love people who actively manage their accounts. This makes sense! Why? These people are the best user for these sites to have. They make them the most money. Actively manage your account as much as you can.
9. You get what you give

Your success is determined by the amount of effort that you put in. Someone who is our sourcing and actively managing their listings will more than likely do better than someone who is not.
YOU have to make the effort and outwork everyone around you.
10. Have fun

Joining groups is a great way to do this. Having other people who think exactly like you is really crucial as they have already been through all of your problems.
People are more than willing to help and everyone likes to see each other succeed. Enjoy the journey!
