It’s just after some time that we’ll realize that remnants of someone we loved (still) lives within us, and they manifest in our actions—the food we eat, the songs we listen to, the movies we watch, some sort of remind us about the distant memories we had together
There’s also a change in perspective, as if we shared a language only us can understand, and that the way we think was intertwined to an extent.

It’s just now that we’ll realize the things we took for granted—yet this is valid because maturity doesn’t happen overnight.
Remembering someone from your past or being reminded of them because of small things doesn’t mean that you’ve been completely stuck, rather, there’s a sense of growth on trying to piece things out together. Everything is part of the process—to later on grow and be relieved.
