For those looking for a solid long term play, I bring to you $HYLN. (A thread)
Hyliion not only is making an electrical semi-truck next year, already reaching 1,000 preorders, but they have a current carbon foot print solution with their hybrid electric option, turning a diesel semi into a hybrid. They have 30,000 trucks with this solution, w 2M miles.
While $NKLA has proven to be nothing short of disappointing, $TSLA is often times looked at as a top competitor for $HYLN. Statically speaking, $HYLN should outperform $TSLA in this field down the line. Longer range, larger payload capacity, efficient charge, reliable performance
Comparing to a diesel truck, the Hypertruck ERX has a lower 7 year cost of ownership by nearly 30k. Not only does it save money, it saves the earth too. They will be the first electrical semi truck at the lowest cost of ownership to be released.
Comparing it to $TSLA, you save nearly $200,000 in the 7 year cost of ownership. With companies like Walmart, Amazon, Wegman, and many others looking to reduce their carbon footprint, $HYLN seems to be the best bet for larger contracts. I will be adding positions for many years.
Do your own DD, and invest at your own risk, but I see this being a headline company in the next decade. Did this thread offer you convincing opinions, and will you be opening positions? Let us know!
