There is one creative strategy that I ALWAYS require my clients to test when using Facebook Ads or Snapchat Ads...
If I had to choose only one creative strategy to use on Facebook Ads it would be user-generated content.

I broke down UGC into six sub-strategies:

1- Single Testimonials (the OG)
2- UGC Compilations (ToFu đź‘‘)
3- IG Stories (MoFu ❤️)
4- TikToks (for the youth)
5- Single Images (video is hard)
6- Add a border! (Great for luxury brands)
Something that I always talk about with my clients is that you can create content that feels like UGC… but is actually developed in-house.

This ad from @withcove is a great example.
But also don’t feel like you need to over-complicate the production of UGC-style content. Simply use content that you’d normally post on Instagram Stories.

This ad by @RenttheRunway showcases one of my new favorite strategies for luxury brands: if you want to test UGC but are worried about maintaining your brand standards... put a border on it.
So… how to get UGC made? Here are a few strategies I use:

1- Create it yourself.
2- Collect reviews & content from apps like @StampedHQ, social channels, etc
3- Email-blast to purchasers w/ an incentive: discount, product, amazon gift card.
4- Micro influencers
