So rewatching The Amazing Spider-Man and I have some thoughts.
1.) The spy stuff with his parents should have been cut. Unnecessary in my opinion.
2.) The actual cinematography is very well done. The film looks good. Especially the Spidey scenes.
3.) learning his powers

4.) I love he’s dressed like Spectacular Spiderman when he’s studying.
5.) Lizard as a villain is done extremely well. The character is done justice. Whether you like the cg or not Kurt Connors is treated like an important character.
6.) The CG is very good throughout the film.

7.) While I am not the biggest a fan of Lizard’s design in this film it’s still done well. I prefer Lizard with a alligator snout. Just personal preference.
8.) Uncle Ben is great.
9.) Aunt May is fine. At least she’s not a spy.
10.) Peter and Gwen’s relationship is done well.

I really liked this movie when I saw it in theaters. It holds up well. Personally I do think Andrew plays Peter as too cool but hey it’s still good. And there’s a training montage to Coldplay so what else could you ask for in a 2012 Spider-Man movie?

One last thing tho...

I feel like now It’s a little overused to have a bomb that infects an entire city be the final act. It feels over done now but maybe it’s because I just finished replaying #spidermanps4

End of thread, just wanted to share my thoughts.

I think Andrew is great actor and he did a good job in the role of Peter. I like the Lizard. CG throughout is pretty good. Spider-Man swinging is beautiful.

Rip the second one tho. I won’t be watching that one any time soon.
