Under Frank Lampard, Chelsea have conceded very few shots and have put up the kind of numbers that are typical of a high-pressing team.

The average shot quality is slightly higher than average but this is perfectly normal. This is part and parcel of the high-pressing style.
Like every style, pressing high up the pitch has its own benefits and disadvantages. It helps teams play a truly dominant style of football but it also means the average quality of chances conceded is higher than average.

Chelsea, Liverpool and Man City all follow this pattern.
Lampard is not without his flaws but he deserves sympathy for our defensive scenario. He has turned us into a strong high-pressing team that is putting up comparable numbers to world-class teams.

The main problem is the person guarding the goal.
Most "Lampard Out" arguments are made in bad faith, in order to defend and justify former managers of ours who saddled the club with expensive flops.

Lampard deserves criticism at times - I've criticized him too - but this defensive scenario is beyond his control for now.
I want Lampard to be more defensive and cautious, at least until Mendy can get fit. However, that is exactly what he did vs Liverpool in September. Guess what happened?

Our CB got sent off and our GK ended up gifting the opponents a goal. Lampard is caught in a tricky scenario.
Can you blame him for ignoring CHO and over-using Mount? Totally. I do it at times too.

Does it hamper us? No, at least not yet. We're still an excellent team going forward.

What can he do to improve out GK scenario? Build a temple and hope Mendy stays fit.
