“By late Fri, @GaSecofState,the state’s top election official, couldn’t assure voters that the problem was fully fixed. His office could offer no details about the nature of a bandwidth problem that reportedly caused the delays.”1/ https://www.ajc.com/politics/technical-breakdown-hangs-over-georgia-early-voting/PWJBQ2NHFZC65L4CNMU7LTP6KY/
Make no mistake, the failures & lines in GA are the fault of the @GaSecofState. It is his responsibility to ensure the system can function at capacity. His responsibility to ensure the vendor meets its obligations. His responsibility to ensure it is secure from malicious actors 2/
But we have seen the @GaSecofState to be completely and dangerously dependent on voting system vendors. His administration lacks the expertise necessary to properly evaluate the systems, develop specification and enforce requirements. This utter dependence on vendors invites 3/
failure and suggests malign neglect. These systems are technical but @GaSecofState has refused to listen to technical experts, instead favoring false representations from the vendors. In GA we learned through the @CoalitionGoodGv lawsuit that @dominionvoting lied, claiming its 4/
QR code’s on ballots to be encrypted. The @GaSecofState had no idea because he did no Independant testing of the system so @dominionvoting’s misinformation was accepted by the SoS without question. We’ve seen this again and again in other states. https://amp.palmbeachpost.com/amp/3650817001 5/

Oh and there's this. https://www.dispatch.com/story/news/politics/elections/2020/10/18/most-election-vendors-face-little-oversight-ohio-as-presidential-race-trump-biden-approaches/5977869002/
Enough is enough. There is zero regulation of the voting system industry, which is demands stronger enforcement by election officials. They must scrutinize the vendors and demand they meet their contracts and state laws. Time to put the voters over the vendors.
