the “black people don’t fit the aesthetic” is not only a “Tim Burton” thing. It’s everywhere in arts. For exemple, on tattoo artists instagram pages, you never see a darker skin (or it’s very edited) bc our skin doesn’t fit their feed’s aesthetic. It’s a global problem.

I think i’m following at least more than 200 tattoo artists on instagram and it’s the same sh*t everywhere

i’m light skin and yet I’m always struggling finding artists who are tattooing colors on my skin so just imagine for brown and dark skinned ppl. The idea that colors don’t look good on darker skin or that darker skin are harder to tattoo is a fcking bullsh*t.

since this blew up, i’m sharing 2 artists I love because their instagram feed is so diverse and they have plenty of beautiful colors work on darker skin :
