As we prepare for DWG vs G2 semifinals

I'll start a thread of some of the best interviews I've done with Nuguri, to highlight his growth over the years in chronological order :) #Worlds2020

We begin:
(1/7) This is the earliest interview I did with Nuguri, back in 2018, as Nuguri looked forward to the promotion match (DWG won the match and was accepted into the #LCK)

The young Nuguri dreamed of facing the best #LCK top laners, the likes of Smeb:

(2/7) 2019 January, KeSPA Cup.

Nuguri (and I, too) was new to video interviews. Flushed after the victory against SKT, Nuguri said he'd like to go to Worlds as LCK's first seed.

His dream would come true a year later, at the 2020 LCK summer split

(3/7) 2019 June, LoL Park.

Nuguri came into the interview room OVERJOYED about the match result, and the intro of the interview is GOLDEN to this date.

Nuguri shared some insights on struggles DWG is facing on "getting the basics right"

(4/7) 2019 July, LoL Park

This interview, I got to explore Jang Ha-gwon as a person:

How he first became pro, his aunt and family that always came to watch his matches, how PROUD he was to be able to financially help out his parents with salary.

(5/7) 2020 Jan, LoL Park

The first interview with Nuguri after 2019 Worlds.

Nuguri talked about his regrets of how the 2019 Worlds turned out, his hopes for the "next Worlds", the growing pains the DWG team was facing with the coaching staff change:

(6/7) 2020 July, LoL Park

Nuguri was very candid about the growing pains he was facing as a player, feeling disjointed with the rest of the team, the changes in his own playstyle, his self-doubt

Which leads into the final interview:

(7/7) 2020 October, Shanghai

In the latest interview at 2020 Worlds, Nuguri talked about how he has shifted his playstyle as a player and "gained the trust of his teammates"

Even though, he'll never stop dreaming of carrying with Camille and Vladimir đŸ€—
