Can confirm I missed the Derby this weekend and watched a replay of it even against everyone telling me not to

I'm growing quite fond of watching matches away from all the nervousness and fresh hot takes that can happen in the moment.

Here are my thoughts on the derby:

First of all, defending was atrocious. Not just the obvious Kolarov blunders, the usual fragility on the counter is just getting ridiculous now.

But overall Inter played decently and created enough to get at least a 2-2.

One of the few positives from the night was definitely Hakimi.

The midfield battle was definitely lost.

Bennacer and ESPECIALLY Kessie (my MOTM) had the better of Inter's midfield and Kebabanoglu between the lines wasn't picked up many times.
Brozovic once again awful in the 3412, not sure how many matches it will take Conte to realise this

I saw Kolarov quite rightly getting flamed on twitter for his 2 mistakes that led to both goals.
But fan favourite Danilo D'Ambrosio was absolutely atrocious for the whole match. At least Kolarov was decent with the ball, DD got destroyed by Leao and was awful on the ball...

Lukaku's performance was a positive. Had Romagnoli on skates a few times (as usual), hustled and fought all match, but not quite clinical enough.
Lautaro's 1st half was good, had the better of Kjaer on a few occasions but disappeared in the 2nd half...

Final note on Conte
Yes we had 6 key players out and issues with the international players not returning till Thursday.

But the stubborness with the exact same formation is getting annoying now.

A 4 man defence would allow to play Kolarov at LB and expose him and our def less..
