Here we go with my summary of #AVS2020 findings.

How to navigate this beast of a report - there are a few major sections:
1. State of the union, which includes the role of religion in society
2. The election, which includes candidate traits (and religious traits)
3. Issues, broken down into (a) pandemic, (b) racial inequality and racial justice, (c) immigration, (d) assorted others - including abortion and climate change.
To start: Democrats and Republicans are *living in completely different worlds* when you look at what they think are critical issues.

Check out those massive gaps on racial inequality, climate change, and gap between rich & poor.

By religion, you can play a nice game of "one of these things is not like the others" in their top 3 critical issues.

(hint: white evangelicals)

In general (among all) terrorism and immigration dropped a lot in ratings over the past year. Obviously the pandemic is a new entry.
