I’m not stressed about Kylie’s chart position for Disco. Honestly guys...chill, it’s all good...here’s why (thread)

1) Don’t forget it was only back in 2018 & 2019 that Kylie had 2 back to back number one albums with ‘Golden’ & ‘Step Back In Time’ there’s not many artists achieving that level of success 30+ years into their career is there?

2) It was only last year Kylie broke the record as the most watched artist in Glastonbury history! Think about the other big names that performed alongside her last year? All the other big names that have performed at Glastonbury over the years? And who holds that record again?

3) In 2010 Kylie become the first female artist to achieve number one albums across 4 consecutive decades...her doubters & critics didn’t see that coming did they?

4) Allot of artists have millions more followers on this app yet they still struggle to get a top 5 record. Not all of Kylie’s fanbase is represented on her social media platforms & her chart positions reflect that. BMG has clearly stated she is in a good position with Disco atm.

5) Over the last 30+ years Kylie (meaning boomerang in the indigenous language of Australia) has a habit of taking both her fans & critics by surprise. She’s the human embodiment of a boomerang (small, curved, returning weapon) she’s not an artist that should be underestimated.

6) Incase you haven’t realised this yet it’s actually not up to Kylie to get that hit record...that’s up to us fans. If your that stressed about it pre-order your bundles, Christmas isn’t far away so buy a shit load of copies for friends & family. Do your part as a fan than chill

Lastly...whatever the chart position is none of it takes anything away from Kylie’s legacy, her 30+ year career or any love between her & her true fans. Personally I’m grateful that during one of the hardest years in recent memory Kylie is generous enough to release new music
