"is this everything?" omi asked tsumu who's walking towards him with his suitcase. "let me help you."

"mhm, this is all i got." tsumu gave his boyfriend a warm smile.

"let'e get going then." sakusa said and closed the car trunk.

"i can't believe we're finally living together."

there was only one bedroom. it was not a coincidence. when they were choosing for their place, they didn't really bother to look for a 2-bedroom unit. they thought that it's just it.

however, in their first night together, their positions on the bed were rather awkward.

on a king-sized bed, sakusa and atsumu were approximately 3 feet apart from each other, their bodies straightly facing the ceiling. it was their first time actually sleeping together; let alone sleeping on a bed with each other.

sakusa gulps and atsumu sweats, nervously.

sakusa: you can't sleep?

atsumu: not really...

sakusa: is the bed comfortable?

atsumu: mhm, it's soft.

sakusa: are you hungry?

atsumu: are you really asking me that after taking me to a buffet?

sakusa chuckled which made atsumu smile.

atsumu: how about you? aren't you sleepy?

sakusa: i am sleepy. but, i can't sleep.

atsumu decided to face sakusa. to his surprise, sakusa was already facing him. he could see his face, thanks to the moonlight passing through their window.

they didn't say anything but smiled at each other. sakusa admired his boyfriend, plastering a subtle smile on his face.

"omi, stop looking at me like that. i'm going to melt." atsumu chuckled.

"can i..." sakusa trailed off.

"hmm?"

"can i cuddle with you so we could sleep? maybe." sakusa asked, looking at atsumu's eyes.

"thought you're not gonna ask." atsumu grinned.

sakusa lazily opened his arms, waiting for atsumu to scoot closer to him. which he did.

from a 3 feet distance at each other, you could hardly measure any space between them. omi tightened his hug on tsumu and pecked his forehead.

"let's sleep now." sakusa said softly.

"i love you." atsumu said and snuggles closer on sakusa's chest.

"i love you." sakusa replied.

it turns out that they both just need each other's embrace so they could finally sleep.
