When National won in 2014, I thought how the fuck could people still vote for them after Dirty Politics. I get the anger from the right, actually. But honestly, take it from someone who knows: move on.

Don't focus on the anger, it will eat you. If you think things need changing, get involved at a grass roots level or just get the fuck over it. Or find a hobby. You just can't stay angry for 3 (or 6, or 9) years.

Also add in a bit of reflection on the performance of your team. Don't just blame it all on all the stuff Jacinda did. All the stuff Jacinda did that you are angry about won Labour votes, much like all the stuff Key did I am angry about won National votes.

No matter who our country is governed by, we're fucking lucky to live in it. I know it's not perfect for everyone. Maybe instead of complaining, spend time looking for people who don't get the same benefits of living in Godzone that you do and see what you can do to help them.

Look outside our borders. 90% of it is a shit show at the moment. You see somewhere you like more? Pack your bags.
