The generational political divide hopefully portends one good thing, left-wing politics is in the ascendancy. Young voters are looking for radical structural change.

That may change, maybe it won’t come to fruition, perhaps we’ll fail but the chance & the opportunity is there.
I don’t think the setbacks with the defeat of Sanders and Corbyn changes the way the wind is blowing. The demographic and ideological shift in the voter base is happening. There will be other politicians and movements which will capture this.
So let me put it this way I think the election results here are a precursor of things to come. You saw with Chlöe’s win a generation coming into political maturity. You saw a Labour blow-out because of increased probably youth turn-out. You saw a solid green base emerge.
It’s all very exciting, the future could be ours 🙏
Learning how to organise at a small scale (I’m still learning) was the best thing that ever happened to me because it gave my politics direction and purpose. Putting thought and feelings into actions with others. Nothing better. We can organise and maybe win ❤️
