As per Dr. Gupta, he never went to Mumbai to review the crime scene. He has come to a conclusion based on 3 other AIIMs doc who visited Cooper Hospital and the limited info in their post-mortem report.
That is where the suspicion begins.

Dr. Gupta mentions the insufficient information by Cooper Hospital, then a "conclusion " that it was asphyxiation by hanging. Why?

Current stage: Dr. Swamy has requested for another Medical Board check on the same report by AIIMS , that also has around 11 or 18 list of flaws about the Cooper Hospital reports.
Also mentions, CBI is not bound to accept AIIMs findings as the final conclusion.
