I have a deep level of intrigue of humanity , we’re our own biggest enemy and ally on a macro scale and in a sense , each of us is a tiny reflection in the pond that is “humanity” on a micro scale

We’re born into this world a blank canvas but every single interaction we have leaves an impact on us , both literally and subconsciously and regardless if you want to it to or not

You’re not you but merely clay art and will be molded into first how you’re parents want you to be (family pressure) , then how your age group wants to be (peer pressure), and for all of your life how people will judge you for the person you are now (societal pressure)

With that in mind, while you’re still being molded, youre also partaking in molding every person you come across regardless if you interact or not, you’ll either confirm, contradict the biases and understanding different ppl have developed or convey new ones if ur eloquent enuff

We all play an active role in what makes humanity , “humanity”. We can either choose to do what’s right or wrong and depending on who you take to , those two spectrums can be reversed and sometimes there’s a “gray area” where there is no correct answer

The reason there’s so much unnecessary conflict in the world is the fact as individuals we have to be self-oriented to get anywhere in life, however this has leaked into the collective mindset of humanity and each group feels like “the chosen ones”

Everybody feels as if they’re correct and that’s whatever , but failing to at least attempt to understand other perspectives than your own peoples will leave you with a very narrow view on the world

Diversity is important bc we ALL make up this world , we all bring something to the table but in today’s society of saying what’s “politically correct” , if you aren’t also bringing what everybody already brought , then you’re seen as odd or lesser of a person

With that in mind , when we embrace our unique differences is when we also begin to notice for the most part , we’re all the same !! When we choose to come together , solutions will come about that benefit ALL of us, where as rn , each group just has a piece to the puzzle

That’s what i mean by we’re our own biggest ally and enemy , both on a humanity macro level and also individually on a micro scale!The more you improve yourself the more you’re also improving the current and future state of humanity

However the opposite remains just as true! The more you ignore your own ills and shortcomings as a person and blame the world for your own issues instead of taking accountability & action , the worse off the current and future state of humanity will be !!

The events we’re experiencing rn are the result of hundreds upon thousands of years of other people’s decisions to act upon either their righteous or wicked aspirations and for the most part the wicked aspirations have the lead rn bc we all feel how fucked up shit really is

As individuals we already know we can’t change the world, that’s a task too big for any one person but the way we can make an impact is by changing ourselves for the better first and foremost! If everyone did so , those small changes WILL leave an exponentially bigger impact

You help the world by helping yourself be your best self ! We all need to reach “our best selves “ if we ever hope to leave a world worth bringing future generations into bc now it’s our decisions that will have untold consequences on billions of unborn people , we owe it to em !
