A Thread on Why my parents shouldn’t be surprised I turned it lgbtqia+ a thread nobody asked for but I’m making: (background info I grew up poor, Mexican/immigrant, chatholic/Christian, abusive household)

1. Family// Gave me daddy issues, mommy issues, abandonment issues, no sense of what real love looks like just and abusive version of it. Bullied, critiqued, and overanalyzed everything I did. Wasn’t allowed to show emotion and “femme” traits.

2. School life// I was bullied since pre school non of the kids liked me or wanted to play with me, all throughout elementary-high school I’ve been bullied for being femme, lgbtqia+, Mexican, and because I hung out with girls. My bullying was both verbal and physical.

3. Shows/movies I grew up watching: telenovelas with these mfs half naked all the time

But also girls like this so...

And disney made it worse

These franchises made me so much more...

I never stood a chance when this album came out
