Ruby really had to learn the hard way that Christina loved no one above her ambitions. She even said she was willing to sacrifice the last of her own family line for eternal life. Why didn’t she think she would one day be someone that was in her way? #LovecraftCountry

The way I screamed with joy when they banned all magic from not just Christina or her bloodline but all yt people. This wasn’t for y’all but especially since y’all want to take it to create imbalance and oppression. Cheeers to that! #LovecraftCountry

Imagine a spiritual place that we could tap into our ancestors for real. Learn from them. That was a beautiful with Leti & Atticus on their ancestral plane.

I think Ruby thought through Christina, she could dare to dream as big as she wanted that life never allowed her. She forgot Christina wasn’t looking for power to share or make others lives better but her own. Ruby deserved to learn better but sometimes decisions we make cost us.

Heartbreaking that the last time Leti and Ruby saw each other was at a graveyard. Not knowing Ruby did indeed love her fiercely and was willing to die for her until she had learned she was dead. #LovecraftCountry

What I want to know is what Leti told Ruby at the graveyard right as the scene cut away. This show doesn’t do anything without a reason and Leti said that there was something else she needed to know. #LovecraftCountry

Christina really kept saying this ain’t personal. That it’s not some war between their families like her great granddaddy’s spirit didn’t show up calling Atticus & Leti n*ggers claiming the magic he stole was theirs. It’s been a war! It’s called racism! #LovecraftCountry

I will say, I don’t think Ruby is dead dead. We saw Ruby was in the bed being bound by Christina. Then Ruby was saying something in the language of Adam to her. I think somehow with the book of names they are going to be able to save both Atticus and Ruby. #LovecraftCountry

Hannah said you’re going to save them all & Atticus’ mother said Hannah’s spell is going to change everything. They keep saying time isn’t physical the way we think. I think just as they were able to go back to get the book & change that small part of the past, they might here.

Christina may not have been able to figure out how to regenerate the people in comas but she didn’t have the book of names and she didn’t have the ancestors. There is a window for this to be possible. #LovecraftCountry

Omg! Maybe that’s the clue! Them white people didn’t have no ancestral plane to go to be safe but Hannah created one! Ruby might be able to stay in that plane in between life and death since she is in a coma! Not quite dead but not yet alive. #LovecraftCountry

Lovecraft Country so good that I ran that finale back right after it finished. I’m still devastated we have at least a year without new episodes.
