Baseball is inherently bad bc it’s considered high iq for the best hitters to take the first pitch where in basketball the best shooters will always shoot the first chance they get
Taking the first pitch is like having a fast break all by yourself, dribbling into the paint, then pulling the ball back out beyond the arc and waiting for everyone to get back to see what kind of defense you’re getting
