Regarding #Ikenfell and our queer rep, our Black + PoC rep, and our accessibility --

The reason so many people are saying its so incredible is because these things are *just part of life* but also ignored by gamers and game devs.

It turns out, the game industry needs work.

We at the #Ikensquad just made a game that we ourselves want to see.

#Ikenfell is should not be an outlier -- it should be the standard.

These things should be a part of every game making process.

And there's still *so much more* work needed beyond the basics we have.

#Ikenfell is a special game because it has things that reflect real life, even though they are very simple --

And that's because we couldn't even necessarily implement everything we wanted to.

It is the bare minimum for positive representation.

That's why I say to all of you, as I said the other day --

I want you to make games more queer than #ikenfell. I want games with more good rep of Black and PoC than us. Games with more accessibility, understanding of reality, that gaming is for everyone.

For too long, too many people have been ignored by the gaming industry, that should not be.

Too many people have not had a voice in that, that should have.

@ChevyRay managed to give some of us a voice. Now other devs have to follow suit.
