Possessing child pornography is a strict liability offense. So if the computer hardware guy, or Rudy Giuliani, or Steve Bannon perused the hard drive and saw child porn, then maintained possession of it or imaged the hard drive, they’d each be guilty of a federal crime.
All this is to say—none of them said anything about child porn. Not to the FBI, not to the public; none of the emails said that. Senator Ron Johnson (one of the “July 4th in Moscow” bunch) made that claim on Fox News today.
Just another reason to believe this is perhaps one of the dumbest/sickest hoaxes perpetrated on the American people. The disgusting inclusion of a text from Joe Biden to his son about how much he loves him while he struggled with self esteem in recovery from addiction. Shameless.
And just to make it clear, all this suggests the obvious: there was no child porn on this hard drive. Everyone involved in this sick charade would have committed a federal felony if there were (not saying they haven’t committed several others already).

Respect Hunter Biden.
