1/9 Unfounded charges of violations and inflammatory rhetoric do not advance peace. Instead, we should pursue strict adherence to all articles of the U.S.-Taliban Agreement and U.S.-Afghanistan Joint Declaration and not neglect the commitment to gradually reduce violence.

2/9 Continued high levels of violence can threaten the peace process and the agreement and the core understanding that there is no military solution. Violence today remains distressingly high in spite of the recent reaffirmation of the need for substantial reduction.

3/9 Taliban attacks in Helmand, including on the provincial capital; Taliban attacks against Afghan security forces; & Taliban complaints of ANSF operations and coalition strikes led to a recent meeting in Doha.

4/9 All sides agreed to decrease attacks and strikes and reduce violence and casualties. Although violence in Helmand has decreased, violence overall in the country remains high.

5/9 Our expectation has been and remains that violence comes down and stays down.

6/9 It was a focus of the Agreement we signed, further highlighted in connection with the releases of the last batch of prisoners and reaffirmed again in the most recent commitment all sides made to adhere to all aspects of the deal.

7/9 Violence has stalked Afghans for far too long. It has robbed far too many Afghans of their loved ones. The tragedy in Ghor today is the most recent example.

8/9 The belief that says violence must escalate to win concessions at the negotiating table is very risky. Such an approach can undermine the peace process and repeats past miscalculations by Afghan leaders.

9/9 We must adhere to the letter and spirit of what was negotiated and the recent understanding. They provide a path to minimizing Afghan loss of life and protecting an historic opportunity for peace which must not be missed.

۱/۹ – د تخطیو بې بنسټه تورونه او پارونکي څرګندونې سولې ته پرمختیا نه ورکوي.‌ پرځاې یې باید موږ په جدي توګه د متحدوایالتونو-طالبانو توافقلیک او د متحدوایالتونو-افغانستان ګډې اعلامیې د ټولو موادو متابعت وکړو، او د تدریجي اورکم لپاره ژمنې له پامه ونه غورځوو.

۲/۹ – د تاوتریخوالي لوړه کچه کولاې شي چې د سولې بهیر، توافقلیک او دغه اساسي پوهاوی وګواښوي چې پوځي حل شتون نلري. د پام وړ اورکم د اړتیا لپاره د وروستي بیا-تائید سربیره، په افغانستان کې تاوتریخوالی په بوږنونکې کچې لوړ پاتې شوی.

۳/۹ – د لښکرګاه په ګډون په هلمند کې د طالبانو د بریدونو، د افغان امنیتي ځواکونو په ضد د طالبانو د بریدونو، او د افغانستان د امنیتي او دفاعي ځواکونو د عملیاتو او ائتلافي ځواکونو د بریدونو په هکله د طالبانو د شکایتونو په لړ کې په دوحه کې وروستۍ غونډه وشوه.‌

۴/۹ – ټولو خواوو توافق وکړ چې بریدونه او بمبارۍ به لږوي او تاوتریخوالی او مرګ-ژوبله به کموي. که څه هم په هلمند کې تاوتریخوالی لږ شوی، خو په عمومي توګه په هیواد کې تاوتریخوالی ډیر دی.‌

۵/۹ – زموږ تمه وه او اوس هم دا ده چې تاوتریخوالی، کم کیږي او کم پاتي‌ کیږي.

۶/۹ – زموږ لخوا لاسلیک شوي توافقلیک کې پر دې تمرکز شوی و، او د بندیانو د وروستیو ډلو د خلاصون په تړاو ورباندې نور ټینګار هم وشو، او پدې وروستیو کې یو وار یې بیا هم تایید وشو چې ټولې غاړې د معاملې ټولو ابعادو ته ژمن دي.

۷/۹ – تاوتریخوالي له ډیرې مودې راهیسې افغانان کړولي دي او له ډیرو افغانانو څخه یې د هغوي عزیزان اخیستي دي.‌ د غور نننۍ غمیزه یې وروستۍ بیلګه ده.
