Win or lose tonight, it’s been a fantastic year for the Braves. Especially when I was skeptical the season would ever happen without the ability to bubble, the early testing issues and owners continuing to delay the start date.

Some thoughts...

I thought the season was effectively over when Soroka got hurt. A team can only overcome so many injuries and getting basically nothing out of Soroka, Folty, Newcomb, Hamels and Felix is nearly impossible to do, even in a short season.

I thought the lineup would be good, but I never envisioned it being arguably the best in the game. Anthopoulos hasn’t been perfect, but he’s been so good with position player free agents.

If the Braves win tonight I think they win the World Series. So let’s win tonight.
