Having your byline on a story is a stamp that you are personally responsible for it. You are forever tied to it. Everything that happens because of that story is on you. The information put forth in that story is on you.

This is basically slander. She should sue for defamation.
Look let's be honest the Post has always been a biased nightmare but this is especially egregious.
Sorry just to fact check myself - the screenshot says that the Post tried to get staffers to put their byline on the story and at least 2 refused.

I incorrectly interpreted it as the whole newsroom in my original tweet apologies.

(This is still a fucking disgrace.)
Imagine being forever tied to a story this unethical that you had little to nothing to do with reporting! I can't!!!!!
