There is no instance in the system of American taxation where “business taxes” put you out of business.

What there *is* is a system whereby the largest businesses can cheat so they don’t pay ANY taxes.

This puts the burden of supporting our community’s resources disproportionately on small businesses.

Only one of the parties is even talking about redistributing this load so that those who are consuming more resources are paying their fair share.

As a small business owner, my taxes pay for important things that make it possible for me to own a business and make a profit. I’m happy to pay my share.

I just wish that I didn’t have to pay other corporation’s share, too.
