This is something I thought I had put behind me. This has been a very private & personal issue for my family and I that I feel I must now speak up on.

In 2016, there was an incident between @nickmutuma and I, that my partner @KoomeGitobu posted on social media in November 2017.

Nick Mutuma reached out to us shortly after, and we resolved it amicably and privately in 2017.
I want to be very clear; I would never allow the voices of any victims to be silenced.

I believe in accountability and I believe that any person that perpetrates any form of violence or assault must be held accountable. However, this is not such an incident.

I thought I had put this behind me and moved on, until the issue recently resurfaced on social media.

I personally have no ill will against Nick Mutuma, I admire the progress he has made in his career and I wish him all the best in his future endeavours. Like I said, this issue was resolved and I hate to see people using it to tear Nick down.

I would also like to thank all the people who fight for victims. Thank you for wanting to fight for me and continue fighting for others.
