I think it would be a big win for the country if smart ambitious people with center-right views on economic policy were encouraged to try to become officials in Republican administrations instead of being too snobby to go GOP and doing entryism in Democratic ones.

Not just trolling, @swinshi used to drive me nuts as a contrarian liberal but as a center-right guy he’s just doing interesting work and helping make Republicans smarter.

Education polarization makes this unfashionable but it’s the right career path.
