Jin has been interested in writing lyrics & started trying it as early as 2014 even though he had no previous experience in it, he's always been the one to challenge himself even more

not sure which year this is from but its from a japan fc interview. jin doesnt let rejection keep him down or continue working hard and he obviously would like to contribute more songwriting wise on bts albums

for awake, jin worked so hard to get his work on the song accepted even tho they rejected it multiple times he managed to persuade the other producers since he wanted to take direct part in creating his first solo.

for epiphany he composed many melodies, as many as 20-30 a day and one of them got accepted, but in the end they choose bangpd's. i wish we could listen to his version too since he worked so hard on it

tonight, his first fully self composed song; taking up a new challenge he managed to blow everyone away again, the lyrics so sad n beautiful with a melody that perfectly conveys the mood of the song

jin came up with the theme for moon & wrote lyrics & composed melodies for it, creating a masterpiece with the poetic analogy of the moon/earth rs n his genuine lyrics, gaining many critical acclaims.

seokjin the past months he has given off many hints that he's been writing songs along with learning the piano and joon gave a spoiler in its so im hoping we're gonna get more of composer/lyricist jin in BE or in his own solo songs

Jin has a total of 8 songs registered & credited on KOMCA under his name (AWAKE, Outro: Love Is Not Over, Outro: Circle Room Cypher, Love is Not Over, Boyz with Fun, 이 밤 (Tonight/This Night), Moon, In the SOOP OST).
