For anyone who needs to hear it, non-binary people are not “non-dysphoric cisgender people identifying as transgender” bc non-binary people are VALID and BEAUTIFUL and we gotta stop this gatekeep-y bullshit it’s not helping anyone

Also you do NOT have to have dysphoria to identify as trans and/or non-binary. That’s super fucked up and it’s a mental health issue that’s completely separate from gender identity

You also don’t have to be dysphoric to want to transition medically. I’ve been contemplating top surgery for the last few years and shit like this thread just makes it that much harder for me to muster up courage to finally ask my doc abt it
