-a cis person sees it and makes a cosplay out of it: CDPR RTs it

So now trans people and their issues have been cut out entirely by CDPR~

We now exist for the cis gaze only and the loop between company and fans is just cis people patting each other on the back for how cool they're being

You should not be buying this game because of abusive work practices but here's a reason for some of the rest of us I guess

Also the dick is backwards in both the cosplay and the ad which is weird

Nothing like implying subtly that transness is inauthentic

folks the actual art director admitted openly that she was fetishizing trans people and calls our bodies "in between" male and female, this isn't a subtle debate

Calling them "It" via Mix IT Up, emphasizing the M in ChroManticore, this is meant to be fetishistic and the experiment in showing how bad it is that it is fetishistic ~because capitalism is doing it~ thus fails immediately even before you realize CDPR is making money off this
