If you've followed me long enough, you would know I'm an absolute sucker for well-written and well-developed sibling relationships. I think In Jae and Dal Mi have the potential to have just that complex, heart-tugging and captivating relationship that I would love. #StartUp

They were both scarred, and it seemed that they chose one parent each without any intention of chasing wealth or comfort. In Jae was made to believe that money will give her happiness, while Dal Mi had her father & grandma teaching her that there's so much more to life. #StartUp

We don't know how much In Jae might have struggled when she knew her mum was dating again & going to remarry. It must have bothered her that she was unable to enjoy her time with Dal Mi anymore. The two never explored the crack in their relationship and were too young. #StartUp

Both sisters made a choice, and there was no way there would be no lingering regret. None of them were wrong but the what if feeling is inevitable. It seems to me Dalmi's coping mechanism is positivity, while In Jae's is self-convincing and a dash of denial. #StartUp

As the elder sibling, or basically as you grow up in general, you start being more aware of how very important money is. Most people lose their sense of idealism growing up. Sadly, as seen, their dad worked his ass off but never quite made it, life was cruel to him. #StartUp

This is why many prefer a consistent montly paycheck. It ensures food on the table, tuition fees are paid, occassional family trips. I think In Jae understood all this, thus she tried to convince herself & Dalmi to hate each other by saying all those nasty things. #StartUp

So - I'm looking forward to a bittersweet, heartwarming development of the sisters. As they make peace with not only their own decision, but the other person's too. But if all goes south, let's hope they sassy and civil. Can't get over the typical sibling mockery here #StartUp
