* The following is a quick guide to explain the best way of commenting on artists’ work without making the artist worried.
For the most common languages on twitter:

For artists proficient in English/ native speakers/ who tweet mostly in English:

-It is an uplifting thing for the artist to see their works being praised>

https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="❌" title="Kreuzzeichen" aria-label="Emoji: Kreuzzeichen">please, don’t use aggressive memes or ones that require further explanation.
Not everyone is intoned to the underlying meanings of them- including myself.
https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="⭕️" title="Fetter großer Kreis" aria-label="Emoji: Fetter großer Kreis"> keep it respectful and please don’t give critique somehow.

https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="🚫" title=""Betreten verboten!"-Zeichen" aria-label="Emoji: "Betreten verboten!"-Zeichen">NEVER REPOST THEIR ART OR EDIT IT OR CROSS-POST IT TO OTHER SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS!!!!

https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="🚫" title=""Betreten verboten!"-Zeichen" aria-label="Emoji: "Betreten verboten!"-Zeichen">PLEASE, DONT GO COMMENTING ON THEIR ART WITH A REQUEST TO REPOST!!
I believe that is all when it comes to the English speaking artists.
For Japanese artists:
https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="❌" title="Kreuzzeichen" aria-label="Emoji: Kreuzzeichen"> probably repeating myself here, however, it is necessary. PLEASE PLEASE, Don’t comment with offensive memes or with delete this and stuff. It is considered rude & they may straight up block your account.

https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="❌" title="Kreuzzeichen" aria-label="Emoji: Kreuzzeichen"> reposting art is frowned on as well>>
To bridge the language barrier between a Japanese artist & your comment:

https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="⭕️" title="Fetter großer Kreis" aria-label="Emoji: Fetter großer Kreis"> use positive emojis: thumbs up, a smiling face with hearts, thankful emoji. These will deliver your thoughts without a hitch.

https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="⭕️" title="Fetter großer Kreis" aria-label="Emoji: Fetter großer Kreis">maybe, say thank you. I love your art. They understand them dw.
For Korean artists:
It gets a bit tricky.
https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="❌" title="Kreuzzeichen" aria-label="Emoji: Kreuzzeichen">most of them don’t allow reposting.

https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="⭕️" title="Fetter großer Kreis" aria-label="Emoji: Fetter großer Kreis">You may see them quote retweeting their friends’ art, but please don’t do it....I guess it is common amongst themselves. So probably mutuals only rule applies.

https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="⭕️" title="Fetter großer Kreis" aria-label="Emoji: Fetter großer Kreis">always saying thank you is https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="👍" title="Thumbs up" aria-label="Emoji: Thumbs up">
https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="⭕️" title="Fetter großer Kreis" aria-label="Emoji: Fetter großer Kreis">when we comment with emojis as well, it communicates our points well.

https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="🚫" title=""Betreten verboten!"-Zeichen" aria-label="Emoji: "Betreten verboten!"-Zeichen">aggressive memes is a big no.
Artists from different cultures, in fact, study the language at school. Though, they are conscious of the limitations of knowledge they have.

So, they avoid using the language not to offend any Native, thereby simple gestures of gratitude is always welcome.
