the interests of the individual can still be pursued in a collectivist society. the capitalist class will tell you otherwise because they want to sound like they’re on your side while being able to blame you for problems you may have no control over while offering no help

and this applies to every issue ranging from people being told to ride bikes instead of cars where the real issue is cost externalizations on the environment by big businesses all the way to laziness being deemed a trait rather than a reaction to being overworked

it will always be the workers’ faults, never those who steal from them

and not to get all blackpilly but there’s no way america will ever change because even the politicians you think are fighting for you aren’t and basically you’re going to die working while the planet crumbles underneath us
