make big life decisions like that on an individual basis in the hope of building up a general score of leftist who do X. And that mindset ultimately shows the lack of willingness to rely on the masses and organize them, in favor of organizing “leftists” (if that).
If your organization is primarily based upon “leftists” joining rather than recruiting from the masses, organizing campaigns based on their struggles, and heightening their level of political consciousness and education, what you have is a club, not a mass organization.
Now, no disrespect to the OP or anyone retweeting it, but these individualist ideological tendencies are deeply rooted among us, we need to be conscious and see how it can lead to these types of errors. Revolution is made by the masses, not the collective of leftist individuals.
