In light of today, and every day in which I& #39;ve been lucky enough to have had @_TrevorC by my side, I thought it would be time I share some of the things that make him so incredibly special, and solidify my love for him more and more every day.
If I fall asleep on the couch at night, he& #39;ll quietly go upstairs and put water by my bed, prepare my toothbrush, and come back down to gently wake me up. Everything will be ready for me so I can get back to sleep right away.
I get cold at night, and if I ever have to get up to use the bathroom, or am getting ready for bed after he& #39;s already done - he& #39;ll put himself under the covers on my side to keep it warm, and then he& #39;ll have me Indiana-Jones style slide back into the now-warm sheets.
He& #39;s the biggest goofball with the absolute best sense of humor, and I have never met someone who is so step-for-step with me in every way. He makes me laugh every day, and always knows exactly what to do or say to cheer me up.
We have security cameras at our place, and one time while out of town, I got an alert that there was movement behind the property. I check it, and it& #39;s Trevor in a full green zentai suit, dancing.
One night I was upstairs working and Trevor was downstairs putting dishes away. I had been hearing music, and went downstairs to discover him blasting and singing along to the Moana soundtrack.
When I broke my toe a few months ago, he would set me up in a comfy corner of our couch each night (with all the blankets and pillows), elevate my foot, would get me anything I need, and even gave my little toe a pep-talk.
We went to Disneyland together and it was the best trip I& #39;ve had. We& #39;re both adult children, and getting to geek out and get excited about everything made it all the more fun. He even stood in line with me at the end of the night when it was cold so that I could meet Mickey.
I didn& #39;t think it was possible to find someone like Trevor. Someone who loves me so unconditionally, and who supports me, lifts me up every day, and treats me how I& #39;ve always dreamt of being treated in a relationship. He gives me advice when I need it, and listens when I don& #39;t.
He loves his friends and cares about people more than anyone will ever realize. Even going through what he went through, he still stuck through it because he loves getting to do something that made people happy.
If I had Trevor and nothing else, I& #39;d still be the luckiest, happiest girl in the world.
