I just couldn't take it anymore. I had to quit.

The career wasn't the problem.

How to deal with burnouts.

I can't give you an exhaustive list of things to do here.

But a few include

1. Exercise: Your body was created for motion.

Aerobics & weight training exercises engage the body and mind in such a way it heals and you begin to feel better.

2. Take a break from things & rest.

By itself, taking a break won't work all the magic you need but it helps.

Since burnouts are associated with feeling overwhelmed, stressed etc

you should take a break from whatever is stressing you and causing that feeling.

3. Eat healthy

Ditch all the junks you've been eating.

Focus on good food that will help your body heal.

Burnout opens you up to illnesses.

You need good food to repair any tear downs in your body.

4. You may need to switch jobs or roles.

This is one major reason to avoid burnout.

You don't want your mind and body associating your dreams with burnout.

It becomes hard to continue.
