Not sure if anyone’s done it but I want to talk a bit about the differences I noticed between d1 & d2 filter , differences that are pulled through by Jimin , beyond just the cosmetic changes

There are 3 moments I can showcase in this thread to better articulate my observation. That said , the diff’s are seen throughout the entire two performances from end2end. Moments outside of the 3 are harder to pinpoint ,

they come through in the overs aura he gives if that makes sense .

But if you have noticed additional moments please let me know !

D1 he is this suave , charming & confident character. His hair make up his posture and he way he performs all point to that character .

D2 he is a more androgynous , seductive , tempting character that hypnotises you.

Now onto the three moments I can pinpoint .

1st moment is his opening pose

He opened the scene by standing back straight , head held high , neck elongated, one leg up on that box, display a high level of confidence and that he is in control .

Whereas in D2 he started the show by sitting down and in a crouched position, a very diff scene compared to d1 but one that matches the feel of d2

The 2nd moment is the outfit change .

When the backup dancers moved out, it revealed a Jimin who had his back facing audience again in a confident posture , much of the sexiness he exuded in d1 was drawn from that overwhelming confidence

The outfit reveal moment im d2 gave us a Jimin who had one hand on the hip while head lolling , it was sensual, it was sexy, it was inviting , it was temptation & seduction, much like the tattoo on his palm .

The 3rd moment is the ending.

D1 , he leaned on the mannequin to end the show whereas in D2 he closed the show by gradually removing the sight of himself using the umbrella, this to me plays so well into the d2 character bec a little mystery always leave you wanting more

In my view Jimin altered the granular details of his performances to pull through the differences in d1 and d2 that compliments the differences in hairstyle+makeup+outfit.

Still on the basis the performance itself is about variety and breadth , he just performs to show more depth of a certain character if that makes sense

And if we Are lucky enough have 50 filter performances we will see 5 diff Jimin (again beyond cosmetic changes) , all coming together to demonstrate the core of filter
