Look, after 6h of Genshin Idk if it's good still but I'm willing to play it more. Not a fan of some character's having easier ways to access elemental effects but....

Big fan of Noelle's infinite poise, that shit is cool.
I also realized it would be REALLY good with like 2 more combat mechanics. Hopefully there's something later?
Oh, there's even more to do.... I SEE. Please don't gobble my life up, Genshin... Current Adv Rank: 12
I'm enjoying that there's even more content opening up! The content just kind of seems like a slog to go through to hit Adv Rank 20...

Ley Lines should be more challenging, Domains should probably be repeatable for lower rewards.

Commissions seem wack. Current Adv Rank: 14
Update: Quests cam take mad long sometimes. I didn't know Liyue was a thing I could get to until this session...

Ascending + enhancing didn't seem to make much of a difference against the same enemies.

Is there an endless dungeon type thing eventually?

Current Adv Rank: 17
Post Stormterror. I've ascended to AR20. Not sure what to do next. Also staring to not like the drag that is leveling AR.

We'll see where the new shit takes me but I'm taking a break for now.

Current Adv Rank: 20
Y'know. I think the game is good. At least a 6/10. I can't help but thinking that having to wait til AR20 for the game to start isn't exactly a great design.

If I didn't know there was anything here, I likely would have quit before getting here. Idk it seems like bad design.
There were a lot if things I learned on the way to AR20, namely animation canceling and party mechanics. If I didn't know any better though, the game would likely seem bland as hell. Add to that the fact that there's gacha mechanics and I could see why someone would drop it early
They do hand you a robust selection of elements at the beginning, which is very nice, I'll say that. However, knowing that the only way to expand your character list is to depend on Wishing seems kind of futile at times.
I think there's A LOT to do in the game, which is great since people compare it to another game I know (botw) which has "a lot" to do.

Domains, "radiant quests", Spiral, coop, main quests and etc keep the game feeling fresh and like there's always something to look forward to.
During the grind to AR20, it never felt like there was nothing to do, more a question of if I wanted to do it. I'm not sure if that's good or not yet but it *seems* the holes between AR are plugged by quests which is nice!
