1. Please shun all forms of violence.
Violence will make you lose the sympathy of others. Don’t allow anyone infiltrate your protests. There is no need to lose lives or properties. Our land has seen enough blood.

2. You need leadership
I know most of you don’t want to hear this. But don’t allow your major strength become your weakness. Without leadership, your movement will become a mob. You need leadership to be able to organize, strategize and negotiate.

I understand we have a serious trust deficit about leadership. But you need to prove all of us wrong in this respect.
Here are my suggestions:
A. The protest has thrown up natural leaders. You can harmonize them. OR
B. You can quickly organize electronic voting to choose.

By organizing electronic voting, you’ll be making a HUGE statement about the adoption of electronic voting for the 2023 elections.
Use the e-voting to also select your reps at the state level.

3. Let your leadership harmonize your demands and articulate them well.
Go to the negotiation table and allow those leaders you have chosen represent you. Let the meetings be streamed live. Insist on a clear action plan and a roadmap.

4. You need to be able to switch between offline and online protests as I’ve seen suggested by a few.
This will help you exhale and review as may be necessary.

5. You need everyone’s support including people who are not of your generation.
Please you will be making a mistake if you alienate them. I’m not asking you to make them a part of the decision-making process. Not at all. But you need to be able to sustain the goodwill you have.

Goodwill has an expiry date. Don’t squander it.
The right strategy will help you understand the need to mobilize massively to get your voters cards. You can’t have just one strategy.
Don’t be short-term correct and long-term wrong.
