Ace had always known his place and the role he was supposed to play. He put on the most expensive suits and wore the most expensive watches just to smile and wave at a crowd or a horde of cameras. He listened to his father, who married his way into the castle, and his mom
who had been in love with him since they themselves had been quite young.
Both of them were smart, intelligent and cunning. They were decision makers, but his father was harsh whereas his mom was kind and soft.
Ace always understood. After all, as the next king
it was only understandable his father treated him so harshly sometimes. Leading a country was not a simple task and Ace was well aware.
And he really did try, but he just wasn’t the best in his class.
In fact, he had been so horrible one year he had to do it again.
Ace didn’t mind. He knew school was not a competition and being put in the year after him would get him in the same class as his bestfriend, Dakota Blakesley.

Dakota was many things, but she could never be a leader, despite his mothers best efforts to get them from friends to
well something else.
Dakota was chaotic. She was impulsive. She was funny. She was many things at once.
Eventually she became a matchmaker.
And he enjoyed it from afar. Watching Dakota struggle
to bring Naomi and Bonnie closer was one of his favourite pastimes, but he wasn’t so sure when she startes meddling in his love life.

“Doesn’t a king need a heir?” Dakota asked during a sleepover. She always asked such questions.
“Yes,” Ace replied, trying not to sound taken aback.
“Sooo the king needs a partner?” She continued. He sighed. He guessed he couldn’t avoid her meddling any longer.
“Yes.” He said begrudgingly
“Well, time to find you one.” Dakota declared and besides her Naomi groaned as she did whenever Dakota had her impulsive ideas.
But Naomi holding hands with Bonnie at the same moment didn’t give Naomi a very compelling
argument since it was mostly Dakota’s doing that got them actually together
“Please don’t.” He begged her and then Teresa started laughing.
She never really laughed that much. She smiled and talked, but she found it hard to be loud and to be open and so she
took the attention away from him.
But he knew he wasn’t safe from Dakota’s personal matchmaking.

And thus when Ace only had eyes in a meeting with someone from an actual different planet than Tuwa it became her personal task to guide her bestfriend
His name was Jaden and he used to live very far away from here.
Dakota forgot all the time, but Naomi couldn’t get over it and started sprouting theories over space communication and other life forms, but Dakota had to be honest.
Within five seconds she was lost.
Naomi was brilliant and smart and Dakota had tried to keep up with her, but she couldn’t and at this point she didn’t want to. During a meeting — party — Dakota had to pry Naomi away from Jaden and Ace their table.
“Why did you do that?” Naomi hissed and even in the red and dark lightning Dakota saw her stern look.
“Look at them!” Dakota hissed, nodding her heads towards the two boys.
Naomi turned her head towards them and went silent.
“Ew,” She eventually said.
“Were Bonnie and I so obvious too?” She sighed.
“Yes!” Dakota said, too loud but either she didn’t notice or she didn’t care. “But basically, we have to help Ace get a boyfriend and the mission starts RIGHT NOW.” She hissed, luckily a bit quieter this time.
“Now?” Naomi hissed back.
“Now.” Dakota nodded and Naomi grumbled.
“Fine.” She agreed as she rolled her eyes, but Dakota wasn’t looking. Instead she grabbed Naomi’s arm and pulled her forward to another side of the room.
“Teresa!” Dakota hissed. Teresa frowned
and in her eyes Naomi saw her confusion.
“We have to get Jaden and Ace a date and preferably right now!” Dakota continued. Teresa simply looked at the two boys — young men actually — for a few before she nodded.
“I agree.” She stated. Then her eyes started to glimmer.
“I have the best idea.” A smile formed on her face. “Tonight all four of Tuwa’s moons are visible which is the perfect stargazing opportunity, so we should bring them there.”
