While other state Governors would send you away or simply ignore you, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi has showed solidarity with protesters in Enugu two days in a row now.

It leaves one to wonder what the real plans of @phynofino and @2niteFlavour were today.

With the cancelation of PhynoFest and Roadblock in Enugu, these artists, have long had it in for the Governor.

It is only unfortunate that they would use the unfortunate event of Police brutality to pursue personal business.
After having a disastrous outing at Anambra State yesterday where they put young people in harms way and abandoned them to their fate they came back to Enugu in concert with some local politicians decided to hijack the #EndSARS protest which the Enugu State Government has shown
Support for.

These artists whose aim today was not to talk about #EndSars but to pursue personal and political agenda failed to pick the best opportunity for it.

The #EndSars movement is not an opportunity for politics or self glory.
The failed move to embarrass the state and the Governor as supported by @dream925fm and led by these artists is a shameful one. It should not have happened, it takes focus away from #EndSars and it's unfortunate that those that should know better did this.
In Enugu State, we've set up a panel that would be chaired by a High court judge members from Civil society groups, a youth representative, a student representative.

All cases of Police brutality in Enugu would be investigated.

We are committed to peace in Enugu.
Those that want to score cheap publicity points against the government of Enugu State should be ashamed of themselves for taking advantage and hijacking a noble cause such as the #EndSARS protests to achieve selfish ends.

We encourage ndi Enugu to continue being peaceful.
Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi would continue to deliver the dividends of democracy while protecting all of us.

Enugu State is indeed in the hands of God.
