So apparently I'm going to start my morning by getting pissed off about how Brett from @GCWrestling_ shirks his responsibility for booking The Collective during a pandemic & not caring about the health of performers & going forward with another show today.
Some of the "safest & most responsible guidelines we can follow" include not requiring a negative test for wrestlers at the Collective.
He is now claiming that he has had a policy of no physical interaction with fans, period, all along, yet it's funny how I've seen a ton of mark pics from his events all along during the pandemic. Many of which had wrestlers without masks right next to masked fans.
Brett did consider moving the show back by an entire week, which is great because the pandemic will most certainly be over by then.
"The only way to prevent yourself from getting the virus is to lock yourself in your home & never come out & have no interaction with the outside world."

(Brett books 12 shows in 3 days to spit in the face of that particular idea)
Brett claims he could have made 10 times the money he made at the Collective if he wanted to but he had safety in mind...

which is why almost every show except for Spring Break & Bloodsport were ghost towns when it came to attendance. It had *nothing* to do with demand.
On why GCW didn't bother having wrestlers present a negative COVID test before wrestling at The Collective:

"You're putting the validity of any test into question..."
"If he tests negative, do we know he's truly negative?"

No dipshit, but at least it is SOME measure of concern.
"Some people literally can't get tested."

THEN DON'T LET THEM WRESTLE.

Pretty fucking simple.
Oh, they had 2 garage doors open during the shows, so it's not like it was an indoor arena...

(facepalm)
On whether or not he accepts ANY responsibility for promotions cancelling shows as a result of his poor decision making:

"I do not accept personal responsibility for their shows not happening. If there were some performers that need to be replaced as a result, then do that."
Brett is the victim here. People are blaming him for this, but other people are running shows so leave him alone.

(Because running 1 two hour show is the same as running 12 shows over the course of a weekend that requires fans to be locked up in the same hotel together.)
Oh, he's finally addressing the Logan Stunt incident:

"I can't make a judgement on what happened & whatever... who am I to say? I can't say she's lying & I can't say he's guilty. That's not my role."

Wow.
"We reached out. We offered assistance...

We did our part. If there's something else we could have done, let us know."

I have a suggestion: make a statement that Logan is no longer welcomed at your shows.
