Since 1995, the world has become a better & safer place for women in the following ways:

However, despite these gains for women & girls, no country has achieved gender equality or even close.

This ranges from COVID-19 causing major setbacks, not enough women in leadership, the rates of gender-based violence against women & girls, etc.
It brings to the question “Can we truly achieve gender equality by 2030?”
