I will be sharing revelations from our investigation throughout the day.

To start here are top-level takeaways:

1. A gov't authority accused WE Charity Kenya of violating the law, threatened to prosecute Marc Kielburger and pull the charity's certificate https://www.canadaland.com/we-charity-in-kenya/
2. A former employee accused of stealing charity funds returned the money — not to the charity, but to a private company registered to Marc Kielburger. WE says the company is focused on "women's empowerment" and part of their social enterprise network.
3. One of WE’s companies funded efforts to have that former employee arrested, and Marc Kielburger then appeared to offer money for photos of that employee behind bars.
4. The Kielburgers personally own luxury real estate in Kenya valued at approximately $4 million USD, greater than the total assets that their Kenyan charity reported owning in its most recent annual filing.
